infinite metamorphosis
Yesterday is my corpse.
Tomorrow is my rebirth.
My bed is the grave of my other lives. Thousands of dreams, opinions, and stories lie there. Like the serpent sensually sheds its skin and shows its virgin scales, I expose myself as a new woman with new desires and ideas at dawn.
I toast to the brave lives I dared to love to break the chains of my old selves and free my soul from the limits of my mind. I cry silver tears for the slow lives, the moon carefully listening to the melody of my late-night sobs.
What am I but a woman in a constant state of metamorphosis?
I am a flux of emotions and experiences.
I am the present, the past, and the future. ◆
