grammar games

I am fluent

in being

far away and

stretching

solace into

corners that

only several

know. ace

this exam,

yes I did.

I am

fluent in

transcription

and bending

halfway,

pressed by

tongue weight,

choked

up at the

seasons.

describe the

tree, like

cinnamon bark.

describe a

winter sunset

or porcelain

moon. how

do you say

a beauty

which

ripples my

heartbeat like

a gorgeous

view I only

see on

family trips.

in between

color hues

unspooling,

define a

maze which

has no 1:1.

I fumble

with hands

in prayer

position

but smile

and bow,

which

translates to

good daughter

movements

forever and

ever, amen.
